About Me

I’m Cornelia. I’m a coach, psychologist, illustrator. Entrepreneur, mother, expat. Innovator, dreamer, listener. And you?

How can I help you?

I help my clients to get through tough spots in their lives and work towards a positive change by combining traditional coaching skills, such as active listening and systemic questioning, with live sketchnotes and other visual tools.

I work with people in a variety of situations. Creatives stuck in inspirational crisis, (future) entrepreneurs who need perspective and a confidence boost, and expats or working mothers with difficulties to live up to their potential in their (new) surrounding.

A brief story

A few years back, I felt stuck myself. I had left my uninspirational 9to5 job to be at home with my family, and had no motivation to go back. I had moved abroad for adventure, love, the lust for live … and now lived in a foreign country with stagnated economy. I felt I had great potential and education, but still didn’t know what I could offer to the world – especially not in exchange for a decent salary.
How did I get through that tough spot?
How to break a cycle of negative beliefs, missing goals and lack of focus?
How to even to confess to yourself that you want, you need change?

I asked for help. I talked to friends, family and professionals.
And doors opened: in my surrounding and also inside of me.

I started an incredible journey of learning, experimenting, failing, trying again, learning more … I discovered that I had to ask myself questions:
Where did I want to go with my life?
What were my goals?
What did I really want to do?
And also: How much money did I want and need?
Surprisingly enough, I had never asked these questions before. I’d always assumed things were just going to fall into place.
But sometimes they don’t.

The good news is, it’s not a reason to despair. We have so much more power over our life than we belief. We don’t always make it by ourselves. And there is no need to, either: Ask for support, get help, advice, share and learn from each other.
